A trip to Riverbanks with Kristen and Asher!

Last week we made a trip down to Columbia and went to the zoo with Kristen and Asher.
This guy/girl?  was the neatest thing to watch.  And while Kristen made the point that we fully believe these are not our ancestors, it is amazing how human like they are!

Ansley was much more intrigued by the "baby" monkey.  She was a little intimidated by the size of the gorilla and felt much safer spying on the smaller monkey.

The kids had a lot of fun playing around and running through the gardens...

Ah, young love...

Matt and the kids visit!

I've been slack about updating this blog, so sorry!!  Here are some pictures from a few weekends ago when Matt made a trip with their kiddos to Rock Hill.

We only had one 'swim' diaper left so we let Willow use it and just put Ansley in a regular diaper...

Check out that bottom!!  The regular diaper took no time to fill right up with pool water!

A little 'Willow Love'

Ansley followed Madeline everywhere!

Some extras...just for fun!

Saturday project at Grandma and Grandpa's house!!

Here's how Troy's mom and I spent last Saturday...

...making chalk board and dry erase elephants on the wall of their basement/playroom

one coat of "paint" on both

adding a little extra scenery...

Done!!

**I would also like to thank Troy and his dad, for without them we would not have been able to figure out the projector to get the elephants traced on the wall.

Ansley's first haircut!

I decided on a whim last week that Ansley's hair could use a trim and asked Troy's mom to cut it before I changed my mind!  There were several different layers in the back that were all different lengths and doing different things so to the family hairstylist we went!

We managed to occupy Ansley's attention with cookies!

See, it looks so much better!!  Thanks Grandma!
